I'm bored with the usual about 'me' post, so today its different.

As you may know, a huge earthquake hit the Sichuan province of China a couple of weeks ago. The latest figures are counting about 70,000 dead and 5 million left homeless. Those are some crazy numbers. (For more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Sichuan_earthquake)

From what I have been reading, the best way to help is to donate to the Red Cross' International Relief Fund. This not only helps the victims of the Chinese earthquake but also victims of any number of other crises around the world each year.

Like the Cyclone that hit Myanmar (assuming the government there lets the Red Cross do its job).

Hello. This is Coco Wang.

As you know the breaking news of 5.12 Earthquake in China, almost all the TV channels in China are broadcasting 24 hours non-stop of every development and stories of all the rescue operations in all damaged locations.

I don't know how much information the BBC or any UK media received from us, I imagine the UK audiences were presented with the major developments of the incident, but you are probably unaware of many important and inside details which are only known to people inside China.

The amount of incredibly moving stories of victims, rescuers, volunteers is simply shocking at the moment. I have been collecting newspapers of all the stories, and telling them in the form of comic strips. I hope these stories could show the UK readers the love, warmth and courage of the Chinese people, also the sad and cruel reality of the horrible 5.12 Earthquake.

I am back home in Beijing now. Thousands of heart-breaking stories are happening 24 hours non-stop everyday, some are so sad that you can hardly bear, some are incredibly moving that you just can't stop crying... I wanted to go to the front to help with all those people, some of my friends have already gone there, but I heard that the traffic needed to be kept totally clear for rescue transportation at the moment, people like me without knowledge of first-aid and experience of rescue operations going there now would cause choas and trouble... but I can't just sit at home and do nothing, I have been crying my eyes out in the past three days, I have never felt more proud of my country and people... their love, courage and kindness rock me to my core! I have decided to tell these touching stories by drawing comics.

I am going to send you comic strips almost everyday from now on, I hope you could know something about the earthquake in China, although you don't have to do anything, but I hope you could feel our love and hope.

posting after much disturbance from other ppl XD, u guyz never rest..

first of all, i'll write about the guitar clinic XD

it was on the 25th of march which is on a sunday, went der wif michelle cuz john and abu refuse to come. My teacher also the guy who organises the clinic gave us some 'appetizer' wif his guitar (i dunno wether u ppl understand wat im talking abut or not ), den der was sum talking and sum demo, it was so nice!! the clinic was more of a concert than a seminar =P!! i wish i can juz kick all the chairs away and juz jump around!!

after it ended we ate ice-cream at baskin robin.. michelle took mint wif choc and i was curious how it tasted like, so i took some from her.. it tasted like real mint!!! i dont understand how u ppl like it =.=".. im sticking wif sweet stuff..

den der was 27th march..

me and kenny fought for the tie (apparently both of us din bring =P) i fell down, hurt my leg and kenny helped me to the infirmary) in the end he still teman me in front =.=.. we fought for noting, but stil, thnks bro!

today went to Taekwando, i realised dat im getting rusty >"<.. after wan to paint but everybody else bz =.=.. so i went to Zhariff's class to paint the doors =P!! it was kind of fun since we keep painting each other accidently!! came home at 1.00 p.m, ate lunch den wrote dis.

Yay!!!

Yay!! today i went to my cousin's house for his son's naming ceromany!!! Welcome to the family!! his name is Muhammad Mikhael Adiputra bin Muhammad Mustain (dat is long o.O"). My cousin was kind of upset bcuz his younger brother wasn't able to see his nephew... i miss u my beloved cousin... i hope u rest in peace...

At night my family and my cousin's family ate steamboat XD, it was ok... (not as good as i had expected =P). we even played bingo o.O"!!! dats all for now, hope everybody has fun during Christmas, Merry X'mas!!!

lets see... my teacher taught me 'lips of an angel' adi, im kind of tired and and not in a good mood...anyway, today went to class party, watch 'happy feet', den go ice skating. i sux at first, but got a hang of it after awhile. i onli fell twice ^^, but keny fell 9 times. i tink i got addicted to it adi, cant stop skating eventhough my leg hurts ><... so now im at home wif the tiredness and both legs dat hurts, but im so going to do it again!!!

i decided to update bcoz ppl had been bugging me to do it -.- , so anyway, today is the day we get our grades, and amil came wif a hairstyle like P. Ramlee ^^ ! i feel like laughing at him all da time! so lazy to do sivik folio...but its 40% of sivik marks...so boring nowadays...nothing to do...

Soon is the skool holidays!!! More chance 4 me to go out!! 2moro is taekwando grading already, time passes so fast since the last grading! but im pretty confident i'll pass ^^

My body is full of bruises after sparring wif zharif and kenny ><" ! it hurts!!
i need to brush up my breakdancing skills. itz cool since i got 2 breakdancing instructors which are akif and zharif ^^.
